The Story
The Casio G-Shock MRG-B2000KT-3ADR is a limited-edition timepiece inspired by the kurogane-tsuba, the iron guard of a Japanese katana. Handcrafted by metalsmith KOBAYASHI Masao, the bezel features an engraved phoenix, symbolizing good fortune, using the traditional shishiai-bori carving technique. The titanium case is treated with a green DLC coating, achieving a deep, bluish-green hue reminiscent of heated iron. The watch is equipped with a Dura Soft rubber band, ensuring comfort and durability. It offers 200-meter water resistance, shock resistance, and magnetic resistance. Additional features include Bluetooth connectivity for automatic time adjustment, radio-controlled timekeeping (Multi Band 6), Tough Solar power system, dual time display, stopwatch, countdown timer, daily alarm, LED light (Super Illuminator), and a full auto-calendar. The sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures clear visibility. This model is limited to 800 pieces worldwide, each with a unique serial number.
